About Nostalgia Travel

Our journey of nostalgia starts nearly 100 years ago in 1928, when Peter Skinners father Percy (jnr) joined his father Percy (snr) in the purchase of a Morris 14-seat coach. They started hiring this coach to Oxford residents for day trips into the Oxfordshire countryside. A few years later he started a coach operation in Cambridge.

Percy built-up the businesses using larger and more modern Bedford coaches, establishing Percival’s Coaches in 1933. The company then introduced a regular, daily express coach service linking Oxford with Cambridge that ran for 50 years, until eventually being subsumed into a nation-wide coach network.

In 1988 Nostalgia Travel was born and we've been providing classic British-built vintage vehicles for hire since then.

Today, we specialise in providing vintage cars for weddings, civil partnerships, prom parties and corporate hospitality events within a 20-mile radius of Oxford city centre.

Our drivers are hand-picked, trained and have years of experience. All have been driving our vintage cars for years, so know their idiosyncrasies!
