Can we view a car before we hire?

Yes. Please email: peter.skinner48@yahoo.co.uk or call: 01865 241 444 to arrange a mutually convenient date and time for you to visit our premises. Please remember, that it might be difficult for us to arrange a viewing at weekends in Spring and Summer as the vehicles will most likely be out on hires.

 

Does the driver wear a uniform?

Yes, our drivers look smart for your special occasion. They wear black trousers, a white or cream shirt, a tie and a period-style summer uniform jacket. Some also wear vintage uniform hats.


How much does it cost?

Our prices are dependent upon the type of vehicle you hire, the distance you want to travel and also the length of time that you require the vehicle for. Therefore, we have to give each client a personalised quotation depending upon their specific requirements. Please get in touch with us and we’ll get back to you with a quote that suits your needs.

 

How do we confirm a booking?

After an initial booking has been accepted by us, we will send you a Contract/Invoice, which will confirm all the known details of the hire. You are required to confirm that the details are correct as soon as possible.

 

How do we make alterations to our booking?

Any alterations that you need to make to a confirmed booking, must be made to us by email. We will assess whether the alterations you require are acceptable and then confirm them to you in writing.

 

How much do we pay deposit?

At the time of booking, we require a first payment of 50% of the full balance to confirm your booking. The final payment is required at the beginning of the month prior to the date of the hire. In the event of cancellation by you any payments already made will not be refunded.

 

Vehicle substitution

We reserve the right to substitute a vehicle for another in the rare event that a mechanical failure or other extreme circumstance makes this necessary. We will advise you of any change as soon as it becomes necessary to make a vehicle substitution. Please accept our sincere apologies if a vehicle substitution is necessary, this is rare.
